Day One in Cape Town:
CAMPS BAY BEACH
Touching the Atlantic Ocean and providing a view of Table Mountain lies this delightful beach where the water is more fun to look at than to swim in... it's FREEZING. But the waves are surprisingly huge and thus tempting for those that dare to strap on a wetsuit. I was more than content with watching the water touch my ankles, climbing the rocks, admiring the plentiful kelp (seaweed used in makeup products- also a major export of South Africa), buying ice cream from a local vendor and photographing special family memories.
