On day III we found ourselves amongst a variety of wild life with the most beautiful scenery!
Chapman Peak... yes the famous one where they shoot the German car commercials! Officially opened in 1922, it is known for it's steep drop offs and you have to pay a toll to use it. We had lunch at a picnic area that really showed off the seamless vanishing point between sky and sea.

the road goes literally along the edge, can you spot it?
Seal Island... (not the famous one with the jumping sharks- but full of seals none the less) We took a boat on Hout Bay and were amazed by these leathery little animals that seemed to be putting on a show for us.
"Baboon Crossing" & "Do not feed the baboons" & "Baboons are dangerous"... are all signs that we came across while driving, and the furry creatures were not far behind.
compassion.
Mean while, there was a warning for people to look under their vehicles for penguins before driving away at the Table Mountain National Park... we were able to get so close to the penguins and their burrows it definitely put wild life into a different perspective.
better than happy feet.
I can't believe the attractions readily available in this country, they've come such a long way from their apartheid era and are making serious strides toward a strong economy based upon tourism and lucky me gets to witness it all first hand :)
